Safadi highlights Kingdom's role as advocate for Palestine

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi on Saturday  highlighted the Kingdom's pivotal role as an advocate for Palestine. During a solidarity event marking the conclusion of Bani Kenana's cultural events, which has been nominated as Jordan's City of Culture for 2023, Safadi commended His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts to present the truth in the face of the occupier's deceptive narratives, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Safadi stressed Jordan's unwavering stance against schemes related to forced displacement of the people of Gaza and highlighted the Kingdom's rejection of any attempt to separate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank. He also reiterated the chamber's support for national social initiatives that work for the common good.
