AMMAN — The Senate on Sunday endorsed amendments to the Judicial Execution and Civil Court Procedure laws, as referred from the Lower House.
The passed amendments stipulate increasing the number of officially accredited newspapers to three, instead of two, while maintaining the exclusivity of judicial notices to only two of the country’s three major Arabic newspapers.
During the session, chaired by Senate President Faisal Fayez, the Senate also approved the appointment of Senator Hesham Sharari as a member of the Women and Palestine committees.
