Princess Iman honours students excelling in community service

AMMAN — Deputising for Her Majesty Queen Noor, HRH Princess Iman on Saturday honoured the best community service projects of Jordanian school students and out-of-school adolescents from 12 governorates, at an event celebrating the third International Arab Youth Congress National Initiative “One Step at a Time,” at the Palace of Culture in Amman, according to a statement from the National Centre for Culture and Arts.
The event featured a documentary presenting the 52 community service projects implemented by 208 students from 52 schools and out-of-school adolescents.
The “One Step at a Time” project aims to encourage and empower Jordanian youth aged 13 to 17 to actively participate in community service projects that are creative and sustainable, and which benefit their society and also develops their own knowledge and skills, the statement said.
