AMMAN — Deputising for Her Majesty Queen Noor, HRH Princess Fahdah Hashem on Monday honoured Jordanian school students from 12 governorates with the best community service projects at an event celebrating the International Arab Youth Congress national initiative “One Step at a Time”, at the Palace of Culture in Amman.

"One Step at a Time” aims at encouraging and empowering Jordanian youths between the ages of 13 and 17 to actively participate in community service projects that are creative and sustainable, and which benefit their society and also develop their own knowledge and skills, according to a joint statement from the organisers.

“We are proud of the outstanding achievements of students who have excelled in the implementation of diverse projects...,” the statement quoted Lina Attel, the director general of the National Centre for Culture and Arts, as saying.
