Jordan welcomes agreement on Sinjar

AMMAN — Jordan on Saturday welcomed the agreement between the Federal Government of Iraq and the Kurdish Regional Government on the status of northern Iraq’s Sinjar district.
Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Daifallah Fayez in a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, voiced the Kingdom’s full support for Iraq’s efforts towards overcoming challenges and protecting Baghdad’s security, stability and sovereignty, as well as meeting Iraqis aspirations for development and prosperity.
