AMMAN — Jordan is keen on preserving Iraq’s unity, security and stability, Senate President Faisal Fayez said on Wednesday during his meeting with Iraqi ambassador to Jordan Haider Al Athari, stressing Amman’s support to Baghdad’s efforts against terrorism.
Fayez praised the "deep-rooted and brotherly" Jordanian-Iraqi relations, based on mutual respect, expressing keenness to advance them in various fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also emphasised the importance of enhancing economic cooperation and mutual investments, as well as activating agreements and easing trade flows. The envoy expressed appreciation of the Kingdom’s stances, expressing his country’s keenness to advance partnerships with Amman.
