Jordan reiterates support as Iraq designates new PM

AMMAN — Jordan on Monday reiterated its support for Iraq’s efforts to confront all challenges and establish its security and stability, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi expressed the Kingdom’s welcoming of the assignment of Mustafa AlKazemi to form a new government, wishing him success in his efforts to secure the best interests of the Iraqi people, meet their aspirations, protect Iraq’s sovereignty, bolster the country’s political and social stability and enhance its reconstruction process.
Safadi highlighted that Baghdad’s overcoming of all political, economic and security challenges is necessary forregional stability, voicing the Kingdom’s “absolute support” for Iraqis’ efforts towards stability and reconstruction and safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.
