By JT - Dec 01,2014 - Last updated at Dec 01,2014

AMMAN — Members of the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) on Monday organised a sit-in in front of the Lower House to protest the gas agreement with Israel.

Participants in the event raised banners condemning the agreement as a “source of finance” for the occupation.

Deputies Jamal Gammo, head of the Energy Committee at the House, and Hind Fayez, who is against the agreement, met with protesters and asked for any available information to be studied by the House’s committee, according to a JEA statement.
