JAF receives military vehicles from French army

AMMAN () — The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Thursday received military vehicles from the French army. 

During the handover ceremony, the JAF’s assistant chairman for planning, organisation and defence resources, Brig. Gen. Yousef Khatib, stressed the “deep-rooted” ties between the two countries, expressing appreciation for the French army’s grant that is part of endeavours to enhance bilateral cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Khatib and the delegates listened to a briefing on the technical aspects of the vehicles and the advanced advantages they provide in a way that matches the work nature of JAF units. 

At the end of the ceremony, both sides exchanged souvenirs.
