Army receives 20 military vehicles from France

AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF) on Thursday received 20 military four-wheel drive vehicles from France. During a ceremony held for the occasion, Brig. Gen. Abdullah Hunaiti, director of JAF’s planning and organisation, said the delivery of the military equipment highlighted “deep-rooted” Jordanian-French relations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Hunaiti thanked the French government for its continuous support to Jordan in all fields, especially at the military level.
Commander of the French troops based in the United Arab Emirates Gen. Didier Maltier expressed the French government’s commitment to supporting Jordan in dealing with the various security challenges of the region.
