AMMAN — Three people died and five were injured in a fire in a house in Jerash’s Musherfah on Friday, the Public Security Department (PSD) spokesperson said. He added that the fire caused serious burns to the dead, while the five injured suffered burns and respiratory distress due to inhaling the fire's fumes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The Civil Defence Department's personnel arrived at the house, extinguished the fire to prevent its spread to adjacent buildings and transferred the injured to Jerash Public Hospital.
