Hammouri visits Karak industrial estate, chamber of commerce

AMMAN — The government is keen on supporting and enhancing the competitiveness of various industrial and commercial sectors by solving their problems through dialogue and partnership, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tareq Hammouri said on Saturday.
During a visit to the Hussein Bin Abdullah II Industrial Estate in Karak, Hammouri highlighted the importance of giving priority to recruiting Jordanians and providing the necessary training to enable them to work in the private sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister listened to the demands of investors at the estate, calling on stakeholders at the Jordan Industrial Estates Corporation to address them. He also visited the Karak Chamber of Commerce and met with traders in the governorate.
