VTC signs three MoUs on vocational training, raising awareness

AMMAN — The Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) on Saturday signed three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) separately with the Jordan Industrial Estates Company (JIEC), the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) and the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI).
The memoranda seek to establish cooperation in raising social awareness towards the importance of vocational work, by carrying out workshops and seminars to train and prepare various segments of society for vocational professions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The memoranda were signed by VTC Chairman Majed Habashneh, JCI President Fathi Jaghbir, JCC Vice President Mahmoud Jalees and JIEC Executive President Odai Obeidat, at the national conference for industry, commerce and employment.
The event was sponsored by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, while the MoUs were signed in the presence of the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tareq Hammouri.
