AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Sunday dispatched a Royal Jordanian Air Force plane laden with relief aid to Yemen.
The plane is carrying 15 tonnes of food and relief items, JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said, adding that more relief will be sent in the future. Brig. Gen. Mohammad Irsheid, director of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army’s crisis management centre, said the plane was sent to Yemen under Royal directives and instructions from King’s Military Adviser and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen.
