Charity organisation ‘ready’ to offer more aid to Yemen

AMMAN — Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) Secretary General Ayman Mifleh met on Sunday with Nadia Sakkaf, Yemeni information minister and relief official at the High Relief Committee in Yemen.
Discussions covered the urgent aid Yemen needs for its people to overcome the difficult living conditions they are facing. Mifleh voiced JHCO’s readiness to offer assistance to the Yemenis, noting that the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army last Wednesday dispatched an aircraft laden with relief aid for them.
The plane was carrying 30 tonnes of staples, water purification equipment and medical supplies.
