AMMAN — A Royal Jordanian Air Force plane laden with relief aid arrived at Aden International Airport on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), dispatched the plane under Royal directives and the instructions of King’s Military Adviser and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben.
The plane, which carried 15 tonnes of food and relief items, delivered them to officials in the Yemeni government to be distributed to underprivileged Yemenis, according to Petra.
The Yemeni officials thanked His Majesty King Abdullah and Jordanians for their humanitarian aid, which contributes to reducing the sufferings of Yemenis affected by the conflict.
