AMMAN — Vice President of Al Balqa Applied University Nidal Younes on Saturday confirmed the signing of an agreement to provide Al Hussein New Salt Hospital with medical staff.
The agreement, signed by the university and the Ministry of Health, is “a major qualitative leap” in the level of provided health services, he said.
The university’s specialised clinics will provide 20 specialists in the first phase, out of 40 participating specialists, Younes noted.
He presented the history of the health service system’s development in Jordan and its strengths and weaknesses, noting that the goal of establishing the Faculty of Medicine at Al Balqa Applied University in 2014 is to provide distinguished medical education and advanced medical services.
