AMMAN — Field hospitals will drive a “qualitative leap” forward in terms of provided healthcare services, with the hospitals to be staffed with more than 250 specialist doctors, besides respiratory therapists and psychologists to follow up on the mental health of patients impacted by COVID-19, Health Minister Nathir Obeidat said on Saturday.

During a meeting with heads of the ministry's specialties to discuss measures related to the level of healthcare services, Obeidat said that the staffs will be distributed across the field hospitals in the northern, central and southern parts of the Kingdom, including the newly appointed doctors, to bring the number doctors to more than 250, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
