Command HQ of Rapid Intervention/High Readiness Brigade inaugurated

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday inaugurated the command headquarters of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Rapid Intervention/High Readiness Brigade.

During the ceremony, attended by British Ambassador Bridget Brind, brigade commander Col. Nidal Husban gave a briefing on the tasks carried out by the brigade, progress of operational, training and logistical programmes and future plans to raise its efficiency and readiness, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The army chief, accompanied by senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, toured facilities on the premises, which was newly built as part of a modernisation and administrative development plan of various army units.
