Army chief addresses students of Mutah University military division

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Thursday visited Mutah University’s military division, where he urged students to observe order and military discipline.

Huneiti also called the students to teamwork, loyalty to their respective units and good relationships with trainers and academic personnel, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

On Wednesday, Huneiti visited the Rapid Intervention Battalion affiliated with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Rapid Intervention/High Readiness Brigade, where he was briefed about operational, training and administrative issues. The army chief also attended a tactical drill that included combats in mountainous areas and means of ground and air evacuation, Petra added.
