First lieutenant dies due to parachute failure during training

AMMAN — An official source in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) said that First Lieutenant Huthaifa Khattab, of the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Rapid Intervention/High Readiness Brigade, passed away due to a parachute failure during a course at Prince Hashem Bin Al Hussein School for Special Operations. The JAF extended condolences to the Khattab family, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
