Turkish ambassador to Jordan visits military field hospital

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s ambassador to Turkey Ismail Al Rifai on Sunday visited the Jordanian military field hospital in Turkey.
Located in the Kahramanmaraş region, the hospital was sent to Turkey as per Royal directives on Friday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The ambassador and an accompanying delegation were briefed by the head of the hospital, Brig. Gen. Mohammad Bani Hani, about preparations and the hospital’s readiness to to receive cases and provide health care services to the those suffering earthquake-related injuries.
During the visit, the ambassador also met with the medical and nursing staff and praised their role and that of the Jordanian armed forces.
The hospital has a complete medical staff, including clinics for general surgery, orthopedics, cosmetics, pediatrics, vein, face and jaw, nerves and emergency surgery. It also has emergency and operating rooms, radiology and pharmacy labs, among other facilities.
