AMMAN — A Jordanian industry delegation on Saturday began a working visit to Saudi Arabia to discuss ways to develop the two countries' economic relations and build joint industrial partnerships.
The delegation, headed by President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) Fathi Jaghbir, comprises industrial companies operating in several sectors. The visit, organised by Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), will include the Saudi cities of Jeddah, Mecca and Medina.
The ACI said the delegation’s seven-day visit will include participating in the Makkah Expo for Hotels and Restaurants, which is scheduled to open on Tuesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Jaghbir stressed the importance of strengthening Jordanian-Saudi economic relations and increasing trade exchange, which amounted to $4.2 billion in 2021.
