Jordan, Iraq veteran associations discuss cooperation

AMMAN — The Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans (ESARSV) and the Iraqi Veterans Association (IVA) in Baghdad discussed means of advancing cooperation in the fields that could serve military retirees and veterans in the two countries.
ESARSV Director General, retired Major General Ismail Shobaki, during a meeting held at his office, highlighted Royal directives towards reviving cooperation between the two countries in various fields to serve shared interests.
IVA chief, retired Major General Qahtan Tamimi lauded ESARSV efforts to support its members, expressing Iraq's hope to benefit from Jordanian expertise in the veteran field.
