Interior minister, Qatar ambassador discuss security cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Interior Samir Mubaidin and Qatari Ambassador Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani on Tuesday discussed the Jordanian-Qatari relations in various fields and means to enhance them to serve the interests of the two countries and peoples.
Mubaidin voiced the government’s keenness to offer all means of care and attention to Qataris residing in the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Talks during the meeting also tackled means of further boosting bilateral cooperation, mainly in the security and police fields, which include training and exchange of expertise.
Sheikh Saud commended the “deep-rooted” ties between the two countries’ leaderships and peoples, which are reflected in more security, economic and political cooperation between Doha and Amman.
