Interior minister, Qatari ambassador discuss ties, mutual support

AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Wednesday met Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani over enhancing bilateral cooperation, mainly in the security field.

Hammad, during the meeting, hailed Amman-Doha ties, expressing the Kingdom's keenness on providing comprehensive support to Qataris residing in Jordan, while valuing Doha's supportive stance towards Jordan in various fields.

The Qatari envoy expressed pride in Jordanian-Qatari relations, which have seen advanced economic, political and social cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
