Transport minister, Qatar's ambassador talk ties, cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Transport Wajih Azaizeh on Sunday met with Qatar's Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani to discuss bolstering cooperation, especially pertaining to transport, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Azaizeh expressed appreciation for the support of both countries’ leaderships. He stressed that the Jordanian-Qatari relations are witnessing “continuous development” in the economic and political fields.

He also said that regional challenges require increasing the degree of consultation and coordination between the countries by exchanging visits, information and training in the field of transport.

The Qatari ambassador affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with the Kingdom. He pointed to the importance of the Jordanian-Qatari partnership and the need to support the partnership in the interests of the Jordanian and Qatari peoples.
