AMMAN — The Public Security Department’s spokesperson on Saturday refuted “unfounded rumours” that its personnel have dealt with coronavirus cases in Amman’s Marj Al Hammam area.
The source said that official bodies are updating the public with the developments related to coronavirus, calling on the citizens not to spread fake news and to avoid legal liability, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Videos circulated that show people receiving treatment on the streets are for illnesses not related to coronavirus, the spokesperson added.
