Man held for spreading rumours about coronavirus

AMMAN — Authorities on Monday arrested a man for allegedly spreading rumours about coronavirus infections in Amman’s Sweileh area, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Public Security Department spokesperson said that, after monitoring a number of videos circulated on social media propagating false information about coronavirus infections in Sweileh, security personnel were able to identify the source and arrest the suspect.
