Jordan, Iraq review railway project

AMMAN — The Jordanian-Iraqi Technical Committee for Railway Transport on Monday convened to discuss the latest studies and measures taken by both sides to implement the railway project.
Participants underlined the need to renew feasibility studies for the project, taking into account regional transformations.
Transport Ministry Secretary General Laith Dababneh underlined the significance of the project in achieving economic integrity between Amman and Baghdad, noting that China showed an interest in funding the scheme.
