AMMAN — Jordan and Iraq on Monday virtually discussed mechanisms for the joint economic estate after both countries finished procedures for allocating a plot of land for establishing the project.
During a meeting, co-chaired by Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Maha Al Ali and Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Manhal Al Khabbaz, the two sides stressed that this project aims to enhance cooperation in various economic fields and contribute to achieving integration in a number of sectors that will benefit both countries.
An Industry Ministry statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said that steps for this project have been identified and will be discussed during the meetings of the Jordanian-Iraqi technical committees scheduled to be held in Amman next week.
