Youth Ministry holds camps celebrating State Centennial

AMMAN — Youth centres across the Kingdom on Tuesday continued to organise the activities implemented under the title “Centennial of the Jordanian State”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Ministry of Youth stated that the Jerash Youth Directorate held camps in a number of youth centres with the aim of empowering young people in the field of first-aid, crisis management and enhancing responsibility and self-reliance.
The Madaba Youth Directorate also implemented the Great Arab Revolt Tracks Camp, with the aim of providing opportunities for young people to meet, contemplate, explore the latent energies of young people, invest in young people’s leisure time, develop their abilities and enhance self-reliance, according to Petra.
Meanwhile, the Ajloun Youth Directorate implemented an employment and rehabilitation camp to provide young people with the tools and skills necessary to enter the labour market.
Also, the Petra Youth Directorate held the National Security and Safety Camp to introduce the duties of security services that contribute to serving and protecting society.
The youth directorates of Irbid and Zarqa held healthy lifestyle camps, promoting healthy habits among young people and raising awareness of young people of the coronavirus pandemic as well as ways to prevent its spread.
Similarly, a camp was held in Aqaba, focusing on societal cohesion, security and stability.
