Tourism Ministry reviewing sector — Fayez

AMMAN — The government is going to conduct a comprehensive review of the current situation of the tourism sector to develop tourist products and promote the Kingdom as a popular destination, Tourism Minister Nayef Al Fayez said Saturday.

Fayez added that the ministry is also promoting domestic tourism in cooperation with the Jordan Tourism Board and tourist associations.

He also said the ministry is promoting the adoption of renewable energy in tourist facilities such as hotels and restaurants to reduce operational costs.
