Prince Feisal elected as senate member of Int’l Automobile Federation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Jordan Motorsport HRH Prince Feisal was elected on Monday as senate member of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) for four years.
Prince Feisal was one of four members elected to the FIA World Motor Sport Council in a run-off in December, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Besides Prince Faisal, the other candidates are Carlos Barbosa from Portugal, Irina Bokova from Bulgaria, Guido Delbue from Italy, August Markl from Germany, Hugo Mersan from Paraguay, Elizabeth Perry from Australia, Jorge Rosales from Argentina, George Silbermann from the US, Robert Slocombe from Australia, Vincenzo Spano from Venezuela, Oldrich Vanicek from the Czech Republic and Zhan Guojun from China.
The senate, which houses 16 members including the president and vice presidents, is one of the key FIA bodies.
