King reaffirms Jordan’s support for Iraq’s security, stability

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday reaffirmed Jordan’s full support for Iraq’s security and stability, as well as for the unity of its people.

In separate phone calls with Iraq President Barham Salih and Prime Minister Mustafa Al Kadhimi, King Abdullah underscored Iraq’s security and stability as essential for the region’s security and stability, according to a Royal Court statement.

During the calls, His Majesty stressed the need to overcome current circumstances through dialogue and prioritising national interests to promote progress, prosperity and stability.
