Food parcels to be distributed to 2,200 Syrian families in Ramadan

AMMAN — The Near East Council of Churches Committee for Refugee Work announced the 2015 Ramadan relief programme funded by ACT Alliance that aims to support 2,640 needy Syrian families in Jordan during the fasting month.
The programme includes 26 activities, 10 of which are aimed at distributing food packages to 2,200 families, with an estimated 13,200 members, according to Farah Atallah, the society’s president.
