Food expo opens Wednesday

AMMAN — The “Jordan Food Exhibition 2016” starts on Wednesday at 5pm, continuing for five days at Al Hussein Youth City, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Tuesday.
Some 100,000 people visited the expo, organised by the Foodstuff Traders Association, in 2015, which also included the signing of trade contracts at a value of around JD10 million.
Khalil Haj Tawfiq, the president of the association, said 150 factories, companies, importers and hypermarkets are taking part in the exhibition, showcasing some 100,000 types of food.
