16 convoys of 131 aid trucks sent to Syria since quake — JHCO

AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in coordination with the Foreign Ministry and the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), has dispatched a new aid convoy to Syria.
JHCO on Thursday said that the seven-truck convoy is loaded with food, relief and medical items to be delivered to the Syrian Red Crescent on the Jordanian-Syrian border, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli said that the organisation continues to receive donations in coordination with JAF and the Foreign Ministry to be delivered to affected people. JHCO said that a total of 16 convoys with 131 trucks have been dispatched to Syria so far.
