JHCO dispatches seven-truck aid convoy to Gaza

AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Monday dispatched a new seven-truck convoy of food aid to Gaza in coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF). The JHCO said that the convoy carries 5,440 food parcels as part of donations from Qatar Charity to the Social Development Ministry to be handed over to stakeholders through the Jordanian military field hospital in Gaza, after which supplies will be distributed to beneficiaries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli said that the dispatch of the convoy reflects “the special importance” Palestine holds for Jordan and the organisation is always keen on delivering assistance to Palestinians.
