Winners of Entrepreneur of the Year Award announced

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh on Wednesday attendeded EY Jordan’s annual Entrepreneur of the Year Award ceremony, during which the winners for 2016 were announced.

EY Jordan announced Khaled Miqdadi of Agrimatco as the winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, while Muhannad Taslaq, Baha Abu Nojaim and Micheal Makdah of Mixed Dimensions were named winners of the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award, according to a statement released by Ernst & Young.

Held in Jordan for its sixth year, the award “recognises established business luminaries who have maintained market success over a sustained period of time under the Entrepreneur of the Year category, while highlighting the achievements of entrepreneurs who have established exceptional start-ups under the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year category”, the statement said. The winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges.
