UN Women holds training workshop on planning, cooperation in Zarqa

AMMAN — UN Women organised a two-day training workshop last week in the governorate of Zarqa on planning and cooperation with local communities in the field of health service provision.
The workshop was held in collaboration with the health directorate in Zarqa. Funded by the government of Japan, the initiative falls under UN Women’s efforts to strengthen social cohesion and to facilitate access to services for Jordanian host communities and Syrian refugees in Zarqa and Irbid, a UN Women statement said.
