Two suspects detained, found in possession of drugs, counterfeit currency

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) agents have detained two suspects found in possession of $75,000 in counterfeit bills, the Public Security Department (PSD) said Sunday.
AND agents in the northern region had received a tip that people carrying $3 million in counterfeit money were present at a village in Irbid.
The agents raided the two suspects’ location, where they found 365 stacks of fake money in $100 bills, 50 narcotic pills, a pistol and $20,000.
