Tuesday, Wednesday border crossings working hours announced

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Sunday announced the working hours at the King Hussein Bridge, the Wadi Araba and the Jordan Valley border crossings for Tuesday and Wednesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The King Hussein Bridge will remain open to passengers until 3pm on Tuesday, with the last Arab and tourist buses leaving at 11:30am. 

Also on Tuesday, the last VIP bus to the West Bank will leave at 12 noon, while buses for Jerusalemites will leave at 1pm.

Diplomats, official delegations and UN employees will leave by 2pm, and all cargo movement will also have to cross by 2pm. 

On Wednesday, King Hussein Bridge will be open to passengers until 8pm.

The last bus for the West Bank for Arabs, tourists and VIPs will leave at 5pm, while the last VIP bus for Jerusalemites will leave by 6pm. Buses for diplomats, official delegations and UN employees will have to leave at 6:30pm.

Cargo movement will be closed on Wednesday.

At the Jordan Valley border crossing, cargo movement will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, while passenger movement will be regular on both days.

Cargo movement at the Wadi Araba border crossing on Tuesday will be between 8am and 12am, while it will be closed on Wednesday.

 

Passenger movement on the crossing will be as usual on both days.
