Tremors from Palestine earthquake detected in Kingdom

AMMAN — An earthquake on Thursday struck the Palestinian beaches 30 kilometres west of Haifa at 6:53am, measuring a 4 on the Richter scale, according to the Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO).
In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, JSO Director Mahmoud Qaryouti said that residents of some areas northwest of Amman, around 150 kilometres east of Haifa, reported that they felt the tremors.
