Three suspected drug dealers arrested

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) agents have seized thousands of Captagon pills and arrested three suspected drug dealers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.
AND agents found 35,000 Captagon pills at the Queen Alia International Airport, hidden inside two TV screens intended to be dispatched to a neighbouring country. The suspect, who had used a fake name, was arrested and referred to prosecutor.
In downtown Amman, a suspected drug dealer was found in possession synthetic cannabis known as “joker” prepared for sale. He was arrested and referred to the concerned authority. In Balqa, AND personnel arrested two suspected dealers who have criminal records and were carrying materials used to produce marijuana.
