Safadi reiterates Jordan's support for Lebanon's sovereignty, security

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and  Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi  held Israel responsible for the "devastating consequences" of its brutal aggression against Lebanon, without any legal or humanitarian constraints.

In a post on X platform, Safadi wrote, "We hold Israel fully responsible for the catastrophic consequences of its brutal attacks on Lebanon, carried out without any legal or humanitarian restraints. This comes as Israel continues its attacks on Gaza and escalates tensions in the West Bank". 

The top diplomat condemned Israel's actions, including its violations of Lebanese sovereignty, bombing of its capital, killing of its citizens and threats to the country's security and stability.

Safadi expressed solidarity with Lebanon and its people and reiterated Jordan's support for Lebanon's sovereignty, security and stability.
