Safadi receives call from Chinese counterpart

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi received a phone call from Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Thursday. 

The two offcials discussed efforts to halt the war on Gaza and its resulting humanitarian crisis. Safadi underlined the importance of halting the war crimes committed by Israel and its repeated violations of the international law.

He emphasised the need to enforce the resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly that called for the protection of civilians and the adherence to legal and humanitarian obligations, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
