Relief campaign distributes 1,100 coupons to families impacted by virus

AMMAN — The International Organisation for Relief, Welfare and Development, which is affiliated with the Muslim World League, on Tuesday concluded a relief campaign for Jordanian families affected by the COVID-19 crisis, conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development.
The campaign aimed at distributing 1,100 food coupons to families affected by the curfew, which was imposed by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
“The JD50 coupons, with a total value of JD55,400, were distributed to poor families in different regions and were spent at the Civilian Consumer Corporation, all in line with health standards,” director of the organisation’s office in Jordan Abdullah Ahmari said.
