PSD personnel begin receiving COVID vaccines

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD), in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the Royal Medical Services (RMS), continued carrying out COVID vaccination campaign for its personnel, especially those most in contact with the public, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The campaign was carried out in accordance with health protocols aimed to provide protection for PSD personnel while performing their duties.
According to a PSD statement, the campaign aims to give the vaccine to all PSD cadres, in which priority is given to workers in departments that have direct contact with the public and workers in the fields of rescue and ambulance.
The campaign will continue until the vaccination of all their cadres is completed.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health said Monday it began vaccinating public sector employees in the workplace as part of stepped up national efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
It said the vaccination of civil service employees, which following the inoculation of staff at the Palace of Justice, aims to include the largest possible number of targeted groups, especially those directly dealing with the public, according to Petra.
