PSD launches COVID vaccination campaign for people with disabilities, elderly in Irbid

AMMAN — West Irbid Public Security Directorate (PSD), in cooperation with the community police and the Irbid Health Directorate, on Wednesday launched a COVID-19 vaccination campaign for people with disabilities and the elderly.
Acting Commander of the Northern Security Region Brig. Gen. Fakhri Qatarneh said that the initiative is part of the institutional work between the PSD and the Health Ministry, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that three field teams had been formed to check on people who have not received vaccinations due to the difficulty in reaching vaccination centres, prior to visiting them and giving them jabs at their homes.
